MIKE MCKENZIE

Mike McKenzie (he/him) is an award winning singer/songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. His eclectic influences have lead him to a unique style of writing which lands somewhere between Tom Odell, Maggie Rogers, David Gray and Brandi Carlile.

Mike’s music has been featured by Jo Whiley on her BBC Radio 2 show and received huge support from Grant Stott, Roddy Hart and Janice Forsyth on BBC Radio Scotland as well as Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio, Ruth Clark at RTÉ and countless online stations across the UK.

Having now performed in some of Scotland's most iconic venues, including opening the King Tut's Stage at last years TRNSMT, this independent songwriter is becoming a staple part of the Scottish music scene as an artist in his own right.

Alongside working on his solo career, Mike recently joined forces with legendary synth player PJ Moore (The Blue Nile) and award winning composer Malcolm Lindsay as the lead singer for their collaborative project PJ Moore & Co.
